Maintenance
A full time maintenance crew consisting of one supervisor and three additional full time employees service the Village. The maintenance division is responsible for the upkeep of all the Village streets, whether patching, removing snow or salting, or cleaning the curbs and catch basins. Division personnel are also responsible for refuse collection, recycling, brush and leave collection, park maintenance, right of way tree care, and minor repairs to the Village fleet of vehicles.
Did you know that the Village has 12 miles of dedicated streets to maintain? During an average winter, the Village will spread 500 tons of salt on the roads to keep them safe and clear for travel.
